There are many interesting places to visits in Perth. Below are some places that I recommended to come and experience yourself.


Perth City













 You may start your journey with a visit to Kings Park and marvel at Perth's awesome City and River views. You also could spend time in the Botanic Gardens, take a leisure walk above the trees on the Federation Walkway and relax in the cafe. In the afternoon, you can have your lunch by heading to Barrack Square and have dinner in one of Perth's great overlooking riverside cafes. Apart from that, you may go and visit the fascinating Swan Bells Bell tower which is one of the world's largest musical instruments.





The Swan River



  You may take a Cruise downstream from Perth on the majestic Swan River to the port of Fremantle passing Perth’s elite suburbs and the multi-million dollar mansions of the rich, famous and notorious. Float upstream to the Swan Valley and taste local food and drinks and luxurious gourmet delights. There, you can hire a catamaran and let the warmth sea breezes carry you past the dramatic Perth city skyline or you also could join a thrilling jet boat ride. At the end of the day, you can have a relaxing dinner on cruise, sip drinks on the deck and experience the Perth city lights reflect off the glassy Swan River's surface.





Fremantle


You may catch a train, join a cruise or drive from Perth to the vibrant port city of Fremantle. During weekend, the streets will turn into life as performers fill the air with song, music and magic. On top of that, you may visit the shops, grab a coffee and bask in the atmosphere of Fremantle's Cappuccino Strip. The nearby markets are open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Plus, there will be a showcase the diversity of arts and crafts available in Fremantle. You also could experience on delicious local seafood at the Fremantle Fishing Boat harbor. You can take a tour through some of the historic and unique buildings that make Fremantle so special. 




Rottnest Island


Rottnest Island is famous for its relaxing waters, private bays and relaxed lifestyle, as the locals call it is a perfect day out. You may catch a ferry from Perth or Fremantle. When you are arrive you may  hire a bike to explore the island at your leisure or join the island coach tour provided to figure out more about colorful history. There are many great cafes and restaurants for lunch and most of them are offering stunning ocean views.  You may spend the afternoon by soaking up the salt, sand and sea on the beach or go snorkeling or diving and explore the underwater world of the island. Throughout your day, you may keep a watch for the friendly marsupials that inhabit Rottnest Island, the Quokka’s.



Armadale 



You will have to take only for 40 minutes from Perth City to Armadale. When you are there, you may go and visit the Bert Tyler Vintage Machinery Museum which contain of great for history enthusiasts and lovers of antiques. Besides, you can visit the gorgeous Araluen Botanic Park, famous for its mesmerizing spring tulip display and a perfect setting for Devonshire tea. There are some great walks in the area and the lovely winding roads make for pleasant driving. Stop off at one of the cozy country style cottages for lunch and then spend the afternoon discovering the unique art galleries tucked off the beaten track.

Rockingham


It only takes for aboutl 45 minutes south of Perth by train, bus or car to the beachside region of Rockingham. You may start your day at the beautiful Shoalwater Marine Park, famous for its marine life. On top of that, you may catch the ferry to Penguin Island and see the little penguins being fed at the Discovery Centre. You also could join a cruise past Seal Island to enjoy viewing the fascinating Australian Sea Lions. You can even swim with the wild dolphins here!. The nearby Rockingham foreshore offers a beautiful setting for a BBQ lunch. You can spend the afternoon by go snorkeling, swimming and enjoying the relaxed coastal lifestyle that Perth is famous for.





Gingin coast to country


Begin your day in the Gingin Coast to Country area with a fresh mug of coffee at the Mindarie Marina, overlooking the pictures of harbor filled with million dollar boats and townhouses.  After that, continue your journey north to Yanchep National Park and spend time exploring the natural limestone caves, bush walking and meeting the friendly local koalas.  If you go further north, you will find the Moore River, which is excellent for canoeing and fishing. There are some great little cafes in the area to drop by for a light lunch by the beach. You may end your day in the Lancelin area tackling the mighty sand dunes on a bus.
